Why do MRA's and anti-feminists need to fabricate images to manufacture outrage?

I am very interested in this. It is the classic ploy used in propaganda - tell lies that look like they are true and if you do it enough people will believe it. If enough people believe it - you can use it to reduce human rights - it's is done all the time by dictators so they can lord it over their people with impunity. I suspect these guys want to lord it over women again with impunity too. They do not want women to have equality and freedom - that is certain so they tell lies and many believe them.

I think it's done a lot on the internet, actually. You know all the ugly quotes anti-feminists are always trotting out? Well, many of them are doctored too. There is a great site that exposes all this mis-information in the trollisphere of the internet. She proved lot of the quotes used here against are actually manufactured too. Check out the source.

Their aim is to paint feminists as insane, hateful, crazy, violent and hypocritical.

They'll do anything to make a lie seem like the truth.

And it makes you wonder why on earth they'd go to so much trouble to bring down a seemingly harmless movement.

It's because they're threatened by women they know they can't dominate.

Actually I'd argue that it's very intellectual. It is a sobering, sarcastic retort to misandric propaganda that has permeated into the mainstream because of feminism.

It's a reasonable retort in a society where a woman drugged, bound and castrated her husband, a talk show hosted by women joked about it (one of whom described it as "quite fabulous" as I recall), and an audience full of women, rather than expressing disgust at a victim being laughed at, laughed and applauded.

It's a reasonable retort in a society where people still believe it's reasonable to apply double standards...but only when the ones on the short end of the double standard spectrum...are boys and men.

So sorry that you don't understand why the sarcasm is not only deserved, but also intelligent...but maybe if you open your mind, evolve beyond your feminist privilege, you'll see why.

Even if they were all real, cherry picking pictures from the internet to critique a social philosophy would be about as legitimate as scrolling the the the comment section on facebook, finding the most absurd and inane comments made by liberals or conservatives and passing those off as normative of either position.

No need to make stuff up when feminist organizations give freely of their man-hating imagry. Here's Femen's famous naziesque image of a woman holding up severed testicles. We get the message: Femen, a popular European feminist movement is literally comprrised of man-hating Nazis. No MRA fabrication necessary.
