How does one ask a question on here and get actual answers instead of rants?

How could I have better worded this question?

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Agh7B...

Update:

Dick while you entered some text, I have no new information about how antifeminists, MRAS, and nonfeminists are different. All I can learn from your answer is that they all apparently have "integrity."

I seriously question if it can be done at all with questions of fact, when you're not soliciting opinions.

I've gotten good responses with soliciting opinions, but with facts?

I once put up a question in books and authors, describing a short story I had read, giving a summary of the plot, two magazines I thought it might have appeared in, and the general time period. I wanted to know the author, where/when it was published, and how to get a copy of it.

The BEST answer I got was "Sounds interesting. Let me know when you find out."

Since the story had an aspect regarding biological evolution, I also got a lot of "Special" people giving anti-evolution fundamentalist rants, and an angry science student denouncing them.

Now THAT was an an innocuous question..

Imagine what I would have gotten in GS!

Unlike the majority of questions supplied in Yahoo, your query was very clear, straight forward and to the point, plus it was non-offensive and non-accusatory, so I don't know. It was and is a well rounded and well presented question.

If you're going to ask questions about gender politics there's no avoiding it.

No, I think that was pretty good.
