Do you think Facebook is good? Or It's bad?
My father wants to keep me away from it! He's told by someone that fb is for those who've got nothing to do. But is that true?
I mean I get so much information from there. I have many friends who are as close as my real ones. I'm a girl and don't believe in wrong stuff like impressing guys and all. I want facebook for my friends and information. Isn't that the good thing? Or what do you think?

I never use my FaceBook, but as long as you aren't completely addicted and posting inappropriate stuff, I don't see a problem with it. What they say is true; once you post something on the internet, it will always be there. Never underestimate technology.

Its good if u wanna keep in touch with friends and such. I'm stuck between two places because I agree with both of you guys in a way. He's just trying to do what's right. Imo, if you spend like all your time on it playing minigames like Yoville or using it as a distractor in class (ie texting friends or playing games) It is bad. If you just use to post updates and play the games minimally then you're good. Keep in mind that Fb can also detract from your real life social life, leaving you to texting.

It really depends on what you use FB for, I found that trying to keep in touch with my family via FB has pretty much torn us in half due to people posting everything they think or do. I use FB strictly for games now.

I left Facebook because I was spending WAY too much time on it.
Like you said: "I get so much information from there". That speaks for itself, It's time consuming. I don't know how you use Facebook, maybe you don't spend as much time as I did on it. But if you do, you could used that time for something productive.

It has its benefits like being able to keep in touch with friends and family that you otherwise couldn't. Picture sharing is also nice but overall I'd say it's unnecessary and a waste of time.

Depends on your age, and your maturity. There is a lot of disgusting and vulgar things on facebook. Just do not follow trends like duck lips & such.

It's bad because it's useless and mind-draining. It's good because it helps you keep in touch with your relatives if you live in separate countries. You decide.
