Not sure if you mean "did God wonder" or "did Adam wonder" -- your question is ambiguous.
If you mean "did Adam wonder" ... he probably thought it was for writing his name in the snow.
If you mean "did God wonder" ... I doubt it, since God is the biggest prick of all.
