Why don't liberals realize this?

The Liberal ideology is a theory which holds forth beliefs that have no basis in reality.

They are Advocates of a policy that empowers a strong government to enslave its people with a high tax burden incident to the support of extravagant and unnecessary social programs destructive to both the work ethic among the lower class, and the incentive to innovate and succeed among the working class.

The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

A democracy will continue to exist up until

the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous

gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority

always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from

the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally

collapse over loose fiscal policy

A broken government can't be fixed by the same government that broke it.

Our history is being rewritten. The truth is we were founded on Christian principles. We use to believe the ten commandments. If you base your life on these commandments you will be more successful and God will reward you. This is why we grew and became prosperous. We have turned away from God and now we are reaping what we have sowed. We murder millions of babies. We lie, we cheat and steal. We have our leaders committing adultery and then they say God bless America? God is punishing us as we have turned away from him. Look at these answers and you will find out why God is punishing us. God gets in the way of our feelings, so one must attempt to deny the existence of God or the Bible so we don't have the guilt when we sin and sin becomes ok.

Why don't conservatives realize this:

The bible has NO political authority. It doesn't even really have religious authority if you actually know the history. The old testament is just a genealogy, a list of laws, and a bunch of plagiarized stories from ancient Babylon. Noah is just a retelling of Gilgamesh for example. Most of the other stories also are EERILY similar to other messopotamian myths that predate the Israelites.

The new testament is even more suspect. Did you know that NONE of the gospel authors was born until well after Jesus died? They didn't know him. Mark refer to the destruction of the temple in 70 AD, an even 40 years after Jesus death, and his is the oldest gospel. The only major figure that links him to Jesus time was Saul of Tarsus who had no direct connection with Jesus. He, and later Mark, largely made up the stories.

They weren't part of some christian group that kept the stories alive from Jesus' time. They just made up stories. And the other gospel writers largely copied them. The bible is not only NOT a literal telling of what Jesus said, it isn't even an adaptation of oral traditions. It was made up by those two men.

Anytime someone advances an argument with both truth and the bible in the same sentence, you can rest assured that logic is on its way to the basement.
