how to start my sprinkler system?
i know this is going to sound kind of stupid. i know where the box is and i found all my sprinkler heads. i just recently moved into this house and there was no plan left behind as to where everything is. if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance. :-)

Check the clock first. If it's one with a metal dail in it? Below it is a metal tab that you switch to the right to turn on. The two tabs attached to the dail turn the system off or on.
If it's a digital clock? Turn the dail to "manual all zones" then press the start button.
If that does not start it, look for a manifold,it has a green top with pipes coming out of it. on top of it is a small black knob. Turn clockwise until it comes on. To change zones, close it, wait a few seconds, then turn back on.
If that does not start it, you may have electric valves to run each zone. Find the location of each and turn the small black knob as above.
If none of these work, the system has had it's water source cut off. Look for a valve leading to the system.
