How does Allah view those who lie about His religion?

I am referring, specifically, to those scholars who deliberately mislead people about issues of God's religion in order to appease them or to gain some worldly benefit.

Does anyone know? The Q is inspired by user: ddd

Salam Someone who lies about his/her religion will be regarded as munafiq person Religion should be performed for worldly and afterlife benefits in the name of Allah The Muslim scholars will get major sins if they mislead people about issues of God's religion for their own benefits.

Forget about scholars live by the Quran and hadeeth I am too scared to listen to them as they are not always correct and Allah hates liars, you can be a theif but you cannot be a liar

Lying to non-believers isn't a crime, because non-believers aren't considered human in Islam. You can lie to them, rape them, and murder them with impunity under Islam because they are traitors to Allah, in the eyes of Muslims.
