Christians & Jews: Can God go against His nature?
Can He limit himself and become not God. Is this option open to Him or is He bound by His divine nature?
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoAre the Muslim Brotherhood EXTREMIST?
Apparently, Dr. Rafiq Habib, a *Christian* professor, who was previously nominated to fill the vice presidency for the Muslim Brotherhood party, is now the Acting Chairman of the party, and leading it through this turbulent period. This, according to Aljazeera and World-bulletin:

What does this say about the Muslim Brotherhood? Are they really an extremist group as we are led to believe?

Is he worth listening to? He's very critical of US and UK economy, which is understandable, but how much of that is lip service to the Russian owned RT channel

7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoHow does Allah view those who lie about His religion?
I am referring, specifically, to those scholars who deliberately mislead people about issues of God's religion in order to appease them or to gain some worldly benefit.
Does anyone know? The Q is inspired by user: ddd
6 AnswersRamadan8 years agoWhy do bodybuilders have large stomachs but very low body fat?
I see this often with bodybuilders. They have large bellies and yet their six packs are ripping. Is it simply to store the large amount of foods they eat everyday, or the added protein intake?
I'd really appreciate an elaborate answer

16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy did the US join the war against Germany in WW1?
I was told that there was a Jewish conspiracy against Germany, which gave rise to anti-antisemitism, but I don't know how true this is. I normally brush off these sort of theories, but my understanding is that the Nazis did, indeed, blame the Jews for Germany's defeat, and the reason may well lie in some sort of Jewish conspiracy with Britain on the promise of returning to their "Holly Land".
Can somebody explain to me why the US joined with Britain against Germany?

This question seems contentious. Are there any implications for believing that he did?
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoJews & Christians: How did Prophet Moses receive the Torah?
Was it spelled out for him or was it given to him via an Angel? I read few times that he received it "face-to-face" but I'm not quite sure what that means since God is without human form
Any help appreciated. Thank you
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoCan you be a Christian if you deny God?
I understand that many Christians, in principle, accept allegorical interpretations of their scriptures, such as Deuteronomy's account of creation.
But how far does this stretch. I met a Christian, who subscribes to the New Testament, but takes God to be a metaphor, symbolizing the unity of the Christian spirit. He denies the existence of a transcendent God (!)
Would this be a heresy? Thank you
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIs the ESV Bible a good alternative to NASB?
I have the KJV translation but the language is archaic and difficult to read. I'm now looking to purchase a new version; one that provides a literal interpretation but without compromising too much on readability. The Bible, as you know, is a long read so readability is quite important.
After reading some reviews, I thought the ESV would be a good alternative to NASB, Does anyone here disagree? I'd love to know your opinion
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoDo adults need role models?
It is thought that children need positive role models as part of their development and a source of inspiration and influence. But I was wondering if this is of any benefit to adults for whom intelligence and independence defines their age.
What do psychologist think? Should adults have role-models, or do they take up that role?
