As I understand it, the AFL can still charge Dank for bringing the code into disrepute while employed by Essendon, but he falls into the same category as the players in that ASADA have to complete its investigation and has to provide the evidence. That was the gist of the answer given my Mr D to the same Q asked by the press after tonight's revelations.

He has already spoken to the Australian crime commission so legally does not actually have to meet with anyone else, unless asada call him in under their new powers given them in august.
If supreme court action went ahead, he most certainly would have been on the stand talking or at least saying , ' I have no recollection of that your honor'.
Very frustrating for all the fans that we have no real answers as yet.

Agree with BK there is no way Danks is going to come foreward and tell what he knows. Appears he has got off scott free, and he has no wish to say one word to alter that.
To me there is one more, whom I never believed one word he has ever said, he could say the sky is blue and I would want a second opinion, and that is Dean Robinson. a disgruntled employee who got the sack and painted everything as black as he possibly could. in my opinion, pay back was the only thing Robinson was ever interested in.

As he is no longer in the employ of either the AFL or Essendon, or any other club, the only way they can pursue him is through criminal or civil proceedings.
Never fear - I don't think ASADA and WADA will let that slide by just yet.

I'm guessing...nothing.
As Andy D has already said...He wants Danks to come in and tell the commission what really happened. but that ain't going to happen any time soon.

He was asked to appear at the AFL commission but he didn't go. If I was him and I thought Essendon had slandered my reputation beyond repair I would certainly go to the Commission or ASADA and tell them anything I knew.

Lexi's answer is very much on par with everything as it stands at present.
Cheers mate.
