What do actresses prefer as a gift on opening night?

Well, it depends on many things: What is your relationship? (Family gifts differ from boyfriend's gifts) How long has she been acting? (Experienced actors can get tired of 'typical' types of gifts) What level is she acting in? (Professional actor's gifts can be very different from amateur or student actor's gifts)

Typically, flowers are usually a good bet. Roses or a fancier arrangement if she's your girlfriend or daughter, something simpler if she's a friend or sibling. Get an arrangement in vase if you can, because then she doesn't have to worry about them dying if she leaves them in the dressing room.

Other things, if you can find them, would be gifts that relate to the production, so she has something to remember the production by. Maybe something with faeries or flowers on it because those are big themes in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Try a necklace or little figurine, or even a decorative picture frame for a cast photo.

All in all, you can't go wrong with flowers, unless she's allergic, but my favorite gifts have always been something the reminds me of the production.

Why don't you get her something that'll help her to cherish the memory of the opening night, like a picture frame or whatever. I know it sounds crap but thats why you should get her a bouquet of her favourite flowers, or maybe something symbolic to A Midsummer Night's Dream? A necklace with a fairy on it or something lol!
