Yesterday afternoon I used Nair on my face (which happened to be a big mistake) and I burned my face quite badly. There are areas where the skin has broken and it just generally looks a mess. Anyway, since yesterday evening I've had a headache which won't go away. I've taken paracetamol, been drinking water by the gallon and keep resting, but it's still there. Any ideas?

I'm not sure whether to get a bouquet of flowers(if so, where is best?), a dozen roses or a different sort of thing for her. She's going to be appearing in A Midsummer Nights Dream soon and I can't make up my mind. Bearing in mind that I can't spend more than about £50, what should I get her?

I need a free monologue, (urgently) on self harm and/or depression/suicide, which can be a maximum of 2 minutes to perform, is suitable for a teenage girl and preferably doesn't swear. It would be better if the person in the monologue gets upset about it, but if not, it doesn't matter. I've searched through google for hours and can't find one that would be suitable... I'm auditioning for the National Youth Theatre in february and I've never auditioned for anything like that before (bricking it!) so I don't know how to introduce myself. Obviously I say my name (Charlotte) but do I say what play the monologue is from and stuff? For an english assignment we have to take something that is morally wrong and/or illegal, and use persuasive language to make it sound acceptable. Can you please name some things that are wrong? And also if you could say how you could explain that it is right? Thanks.

This is quite a long story, and when I asked one of my other friends for advice, she didn't believe me. But I promise that it's true! So basically, il start from the beginning.

We were out shopping, me, my friend Amie and my friend Emily, and this boy came up to Emily and started being flirty, and she was kind of doing it back. Then he started feeling her top and stuff, and pushed her really hard against the wall. She let him kiss her, and while they were standing there making out me and amie found it really awkward (this was in the middle of a shopping centre) but then Emily came over to us and told us to meet her later outside, which we were a bit unsure about but she didn't exactly give us a choice. Then about an hour later she rang me saying she would be later, but there was loads of noise In the background.

Later when we met up Emily looked really rough (her hair was all messed up, and she like smelled really weird :S ) and when we asked her what had happened she just smiled and said nothing, which it obviously wasn't.. Later she let it slip that they'd had really rough sex, and they didn't use protection, AND she was really jittery and stuff so I think she may have used drugs which worries me loads because she's only 14, and the guy looked a lot older...

But yeah, then when we went to school a couple of weeks later me and her were talking about it, thinking we were alone but our head of year heard the end of it, when I was saying how she could get hurt and how could she trust this guy, so the next day my head of year was asking me what's wrong with Emily cause she's acting really strange and stuff, and I ended up telling her about the sex but not the drugs, and now Emily refuses to stop totally, she's acting so rude and a couple of times she's gone missing at lunch time then come back smelling like she did on that day.

I know this is long but I wanted to say the entire story so you'd understand more, and now I'm really worried about her, what do I do?

Simply, I'm in love with my english teacher, who is also female and about 20 years older than me. Don't judge me. I've just found out I have her next year too, which was great for me, but I want to know how I can give her the hint that I like her a lot? Don't start with the speeches about the law and not love blah blah, people don't understand. No stupid answers please!

I think, well I know, that I'm in love with my English teacher. But the fact of knowing I can't do anything or tell anyone is driving me crazy. Well basically, I think -deep breath- that I'm in love with a teacher at my school. That teacher is female, the same as me, and every time I see her; I melt. I know it sounds strange, but when we have lessons with her my eyes follow her wherever she goes, and I can never focus on tasks. She isn't perfect to everyone else, because she wears a wig after losing her hair when she had cancer, but she's perfect to me. I love her accent (Aussie) and she's a lovely, kind person. It drives me mad, the way she makes me feel, like nothing I've ever felt before. I don't know what to... Advice? And no, I am not 'confused' or 'experimenting'.
