How to combat stress?
I'm feeling slightly stressed and wondered how to tackle it so I felt easy and much more relaxed about everything again.
The issues:
I struggle with change and have a slight issue of writing lists and schedules and struggling if they change (trades I've been told of OCD).
I'm a Child's Nanny and I am losing one of my families due to their youngest starting school and gaining a new family of 3 boys which is stressing me a bit.
But, on top of that I'm starting a new course in evening college in maths - a subject I'm not very comfortable with.
And, my boyfriend goes back to (local) university so I will go back to only seeing him 3 times a week type thing.
Thanks!

Walk a few miles a day if you can
Physical exercise sets you on a mission,
and then it changes you into a force to
be reckoned with. There is a learning
curve to it, but if you can give it a few
weeks, you will turn this around.

Fortunately, slightly stressed is ok. I would be concerned if you considered yourself highly or overly stressed. A bit of stress is supposedly healthy.
Certainly medication isn't a wise option to explore yet, taking regular medication will not mend or correct the stress, but possibly help you deal with this stress and possibly form a chemical dependency. For the relatively low stress, I'd say it wasn't worth enduring the week or so of side effects when going on, and stopping SSRIs.
Change can be a cause of stress for most people, I certainly understand how you might feel as I equally struggle with the slightest change. The best thing to do is trust in your ability to adapt to these changes, I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to worry, but worry cannot alter anything it simply just makes us feel... stressed.
So, try your best to declutter your mind, reject any negative thoughts and avoid focusing on worries and potential problems. You will be just fine and can cope with any changes thrown your way, even if they're really scary, just trust yourself and deal with those events as they happen, take each day as it comes.
If change is an issue because you, like me, need to know every eventuality and prepared to act in each possible outcome, do try to break this cycle as it can be tiring with all this heavy thinking. It's a tough battle and I'm still doing it myself, I wish you all the best and have absolute faith that you'll do just fine :)
