How do I get back into rugby again?
When I was in college, which was almost 20 years ago, I played rugby for several years and really enjoyed it. I wasn't great at it, but it was a lot of fun. However, I have not played since, and had not thought much about the game in the intervening years.
A few weeks ago, though, a friend of mine told me about a rugby league that was forming and he invited me to play on his team. It brought back a lot of memories, and I decided to give it a try. However, it has been so long since I played that I am pretty sure that my skills are pretty rusty.
What do I need to do to get back in shape for rugby? Are there are any drills or exercises that I can do to prepare myself? It would be nice if they are things that I can do quickly, since the first game is just a few weeks away. I'll probably make an idiot of myself, but it would be nice not to look too bad out there.

Hey Markwync,
What a great way to stay fit and get in some exercise!
Not sure which position you play, but doing drills that help you focus on improving that skill will be very useful. Running will get your stamina back up so that you don’t get fatigued during the game.
Specific practice drills to help you get your grove back would include kicking and throwing along with the running. You guys should have some practice sessions to help you all mesh together as a team, learning each others strengths and weaknesses. This will help you play like a coordinated team.
Good luck!
