what I should do I know its only cause he cares but I get bored?

me and someone who I should be getting back together with well we have slightly different opinions on who I talk to on bbm , I get bored so I talk to to anyone just for fun sometimes a few arguments but like he know at one point i had alot of trouble with people going mental at me for no reason and he doesn't mind me having bbm but he prefers me not to have it , he says he worrys about some of the people i talk to and doesnt want me getting myself in trouble or getting hurt , I have most of my friends on there since i cant give my number out cause i get abuse and stuff people keep giving out my number ... should I delete it or keep it? i know his view and i want to delete it to make him happy but i get bored so i just talk to people .
