while i dont listen to most music most of the time. and while i have not heard this song at any time, i do have the ideas in my mind and thought. with all the sorceries and mind control, i cant remember anything, yet when i study, i can remember the lessons for a day or two, and then nothing. i think there is something that is causing mass amnesia. in fact im pretty sure of it, for me. for years i could still remember my studies in church manuals, i put all the church lessons to practice but i cant remember verses. i think the lord taught joseph smith that we lust after visions and signs, but when the lord cleanses us from all unrighteousness, that those previoius things get wiped out too. its just a theory. i link it to what is called the "remission of sins".

memory and rehearsing scriptures may not be the way we can all remember everything we are taught, it has to be applied to our lives. right now i have have short term memory that is not longer than about 2 weeks.

Seems rather negative. Maybe we remember the new things that we learn that are more important, and we forget the old things that turn out to be less important, relevant, or true.

I've never heard the quote set to music.
