Can I set up a 2nd Computer to my All In One PC?

I have an HP TouchSmart610, and it's good for work and stuff but not for gaming. I want to build a gaming rig but not buy a new monitor. The Touchsmart has HDMI input.

If I set up the tower to HDMI output, can I hook it to my Touchsmart? Basically I could turn on just the Touchsmart to use it and if I want to play games I turn on the rig and switch input method.

Update:

Upon Further inspection, I do not have HDMI input.

I saw that there were DVI to USB converters, and I obviously have USB input. Would that still work?

Yes, all the steps to do this are listed right on HPs website. Your gaming rig is considered a 'game console':

make sure that it is HDMI input and not output. (i have a laptop with HDMI out so i can use a second screen but not HDMI in so i cant use the laptops screen for another computer. All-in-ones have the same hardware as laptops pretty much.)

also you will not be able to use the touchscreen aspects of the screen.

other than that everything will be good
