Yahoo Groups: I am sending invitations, people are replying but that's it - nothing else happens.?

Setting privacy and membership preferences:

1. On your group's main page, click Management | Control Panel.

2. Click Group Settings.

3. Next to "Group type," select your desired privacy:

- Public: New members do not require moderator approval.

- Private: Anyone can request membership, but new members require moderator approval.

- Hidden: New members must be invited by a moderator to join.

Note: If you make any changes to the options for the group type, your group type will automatically change to "Custom."

4. Click Save.

Note: If you're a moderator and you don't see fields above, you'll need to contact the group owner to request that they make the changes on your behalf or provide you with the necessary privileges to make them yourself.\
