Mouse lag fix help!!?

I own a microsoft arc touch mouse.

Usually it functions fine without any lag but sometimes it lags for a full minute whereby the cursor appears to 'teleport' a few pixels away than intended.

Not a big problem but I would appreciate it if it could go away

    maybe it already drain the battery (if you use it a long time).
