Perhaps enough that Turkey and Jordan could split Syria down the middle and stop some ot the terrorists activity around the world.

Moot point. Syria is none of our business so long as they don't attack us.
*I'm sure Syrians aren't sitting in their homes on saturday morning thinking, "gee, I sure hope the americans are okay".
