Can emancipated minors receive FAFSA?
A friend of mine who is 16 wants to go to college but is still looking for work. I offered her to rent at my place for 300$ a month which would be easily paid for by fafsa and she would have plenty of money left over to pay for classes and supplies. that is if she can get it in the first place.

does she have her HS Diploma or GED?
if she doesn't then she is not eligible for FAFSA funding
I don't know where you are coming up with your estimation of her finances.... it would not work out that way here, even if only in community college & even if EFC of 0000

Nope, kid wanted freedom, so they get to pay
to play.
at 16 they need to go door to door applying
to 300 or more places for work.
