How to put in contacts?
I am trying to get contacts because I play basketball and my glasses are a huge annoyance. I had an eye exam today and I tried to put them on, it was REALLY hard. I'm left handed and I put in my left contact, with much trouble, of course, but I couldn't get it in on my right eye. My eyelashes are pretty dang long for a guy. Can someone help me? Whenever I pulled my eyelids up with my right hand and the bottom one with my left, they slipped right back into place and I couldn't put in the contact. Also when I grabbed my eyelids/eyelashes there were still a few poking out.

First off, it will be super frustrating at first, because you're not used to putting things in your eye haha. so just be patient with it. Second, i would try starting with putting the contact in the opposite eye of your finger, so your left handed, so try putting it in the right eye first (your right eye looking in the mirror, not your actual right eye because then it doesn't work out lol) and take your right hand's pointer finger and hold your eyelid up, which you know. Also, try not to blink down really fast once it's in your eye because then it could crinkle and fall out. Good luck :)

Honestly? I feel VERY awkward if I use just one hand to put in my contacts. I have to use the one that goes with that side or it just feels weird. I'm ambidextrous though. Just relax and take it slow, don't despair, it takes patience and practice. I wear contacts and it was hard at first. Soon it will be second nature.
Oh and don't forget to wash ur hands!
I'm jealous, I want your long eyelashes. I used to not care about wearing makeup but now I wear it and putting on mascara is a pain. Hahaha.
