Need help graphing with a TI-84 Plus texas-instruments calculator?

I dont understand how to graph an equation on my TI-83 Plus texas instruments calculator and have been looking at several tutorials on youtube that have been no help. Also if you know any tutorials in general on how to use the TI-84 Plus texas- instruments calculator, that would be great. I only know how to use a regular calculator, so I am having trouble finding out how to use the TI-84 plus texas instruments calculator.

If you were to graph y=3x+1 how would you do it?

If you were to graph x^3-x+1 how would you do it?

Update:

If you were to graph y=3x+1 how would you do it?

If you were to graph x^3-x+1 how would you do it?

I mean how do you graph these 2 equations on the calculator mentioned.

    To graph 3x + 1:

    Press [Y=].

In Y1, type in 3X+1. (The X can be typed in by pressing [X,T,θ,n] while in Function mode, or by pressing [Alpha][Sto►].)

    Press [Graph].

    To graph x³ − x + 1:

    Press [Y=].

In Y1, type in X³−X+1. (The ³ can be typed in by pressing [Math] > 3:³.)

    Press [Graph].
