Current Event Involving 1st Amendment?
Basically I need current events IN THE U.S( if its not in the U.S. it/they would be helpful as well.... at this point i am desperate to find something) (events in general are fine but events that are as current as possible would be much better and are more targeted to what I am looking for, so please answer this question with as many current events (something that is going on now). Please let me know of topics that are going on that involve the first amendment.
1st amendment consists of: " Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the exercise, thereof; or abridging the freedom of spech, or of the press or the right of the people to peaceably assemble and to petition the goverment for a redress of grievences."

I am trying to learn how to graph with a TI-84 Plus Texas Instruments calculator by entering an equation.I tried doing this by pressing y= and then in the first numbered line I put the equation. The calculator does a graph but only keeps it on the screen for about a second and then it shows ERR:SYNTAX below that there is 1: Quit and 2: Gotto. How can I keep the graph on the screen?

I dont understand how to graph an equation on my TI-83 Plus texas instruments calculator and have been looking at several tutorials on youtube that have been no help. Also if you know any tutorials in general on how to use the TI-84 Plus texas- instruments calculator, that would be great. I only know how to use a regular calculator, so I am having trouble finding out how to use the TI-84 plus texas instruments calculator.

2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoLooking for a Sweet Sixteen venue and Sweet Sixteen Ideas?
Please be as specific as possible espically with the venue. This means name the exact location or business if you can. I am looking for a venue like Golden State Park in San Fransisco for a sweet sixteen ( more like a slightly grander brithday party, humble, low key for a sweet sixteen, just a couple people invited) or some nice looking outdoor place preferablly with a small lake. The venue can not be in San Fransisco. I am looking for a public place because I do not want to spend most of my budget on renting a place. I want to spend most of my budget on the actual party and entertaining guests. My budget is 250, but would like to stay close to 200.
Some place that has low rent that would be good for an old hollywood theme would be nice as well. The one element I really want for this party is a feeling of it being natural, but classy (somewhere a sophisticated, older person would go to) or chique. I really need help on what kind of activities, and decorations to put. I am not very creative so things that are I can just buy or make easily are prefferable. I am not really picky, and I want the party to seem humble but nice and memorable. Nothing too flashy or expensive. No club theme parties at all. I need some place where adults can feel somewhat comfortable
Here is my planning somewhat to see more of what I want. This is just brainstorming.
Theme: princess or old Hollywood, fake throne, masquerade, slightly flashy, classy inspirational historical figures
Food stuff: virgin drinks, cute desert looking things
Dinner: Italian, possibly French or Japaneese ( no Indian food)
Cake: Icecream or tiramisu
Gift bag stuff
Snack table thing candy?
Games for stuff do do while people wait (candyland, guess who etc)
Do a performance? Karoke
Physic… drama spews…. Maybe not
Some kind of raffle thing…. Everyone gets a gift
Venue: chique law like design, outdoor like near a lake
Activities: game for getting small prizes, food tastings (chocolate), fun videos, movie, award (people and dress) stuff/speeches. Guess how much candy, guess what kind of candy, stuff from movie scenes reactment, appropriate truth and dare games
Try to include: corsages, gazebo, sort of grand entrance with flowers, fake tiara, jewelry looking stuff food stuff, must include virgin margirittas and daqueries, ice sculpture???red carpet, lights, small stuffed animals maybe for guests
Chocolate fondue
Red carpet going in
Sing as going in
Venue outdoor near a lake: ourdoor gardeny, with a small lake
go to the movies before : $7.50 per person
Transportation: $11 per person bart
Catering cost:
Cake: tiramusu Costco
Decorations for cake:
Red carpet:
Flowers cost: $0 (as long as willing to give lots of flower up):
Photography: mommy
Candy: Costco
dress: use a black lace sophisticated looking dress with jewlery that I own. May purchase a little bit of fake jewlery.
Prizes: Bath Body works ( Forever 21), chocolate giradelli, fake jewelry Wet Seal , elf makeup
would like to include my guests somehow in details of the sweet sixteen : many are down to earth, one is a fashionista, another is a tomboy, one is very into animals and peace. I am going to include all of them in some kind of a speech as well.
2 AnswersOther - Entertainment8 years agoSAT questions..........,?
My friend gave me information below about SAT stuff, but Im not sure if she s right. She said the following:
Most colleges/ universities require applicants take a specific SAT test. I think this would be the general SAT test which covers only English, and math. She said something about verbal, which seems confusing to me because I didn't think you would have to talk during the test.
There is also optional SAT subject tests which are not required for applicants of universities/college to take but they can take it to give them a slight advantage for colleges/ universities assuming you get a high score.
Correct me if what my friend is saying is wrong please. Also if you could give me names of SAT prep books ( good ones is possible) that would be good. Also if there are any good tutors or tutoring companies that would be great , that are not too expensive. The one my friend found is too expensive and seems to not be that good. Thanks

2 AnswersMathematics8 years agoHow to write equations having to do with acids and bases in Chemistry (there is an ex below)?
So I have an acid and a base given to me and I am supposed to provide and equation which involves these substances. I am not sure what type of equation (if there is a type of equation for these).
For example: This is a sample problem of the type of exercise I described above. the substance H2 So4 as an acid and HSO4- as a base. Apparently the equation to this acid and base is H2SO4+ H2O two arrows (one going to the left and one going to the right both of them are about equal length, please explain when I would use these double arrows if you can if I am just given a base and an acid) H3O+ plus HSO4-

1 AnswerChemistry8 years agoChemistry reading equations Test tomorrow really need help!!?
General question:Is the coefficient of a compound ( or whatever else can be in an equation( always the number of moles in an equation. Please be specific in your answer but try to make it easy for someone to understand who is not good in chemistry.bexplain your answers
For example o e equation says what mass of each product results if 75Oml of a 6.00 MH3PO4 reacts according to the equation H3PO4 + Ca (OH)2 arrow Ca3 ( PO4)2 + H2O? I would think you could just balance the equation then the coefficient of each compound or is the number of moles of each compound. I thought this worked for elements and ions as well. So using that logic in the given problem there are 2mo, H3PO4 and then you would convert 2mol H 3PO4 to grams, therefore the numbers in the description of the problem(norpt the equation is not necessary.
1 AnswerChemistry8 years agoChemistry Questions HELP?
I am looking at other sources for information, but I need the information today because I have to do something with it by the end of the day.
In the end I need a paragraph for each question (there are 2) so please explain in depth but in a way that someone who is not very good at chemistry can understand.
Background info: Put water in an empty aluminumn can and than boil the water in the can ( when the water is boiling heat is also applied to the can). After the water boils put the can in cold water (about as cold as the maxiumn temperature of cold tap water from a faucet), and the can implodes and is squished. At this point the can did not break and looks no different than a regular aluminumn can except for the fact that it is squished.
Question which is the result of the lab in the background theory above: Explain why did the can implode.
Question #2
Background info: A large empty plastic soda can (costco size) is filled as much as possible with water. A dropper ( not sure what it is called but its basically a light weight plastic device which is usually used to obtain very small amounts ( a few droplets or less) of a substance is put into this large soda can with the dropper being almost filled up to its maximun capability that it can hold. The dropper is supposed to represent a diver in a body of water( maybe an ocean). The bottle with the dropper in it is than going to be squeezed. While this pressure is being exerted onto the bottle the dropper which is supposed to be representing a diver sinks down to the bottom of the bottle. When the bottle is not being squeezed the dropper stay toward the top of the inside of the plastic bottle.
Question which is the result of the background information about the very large soda bottle : Why does the dropper sink.

2 AnswersDream Interpretation8 years agoChemistry Questions!!!!!?
I need sources and/or answers that include information on synthesis chemical reactions, decomposition chemical reactions, double placement, single displacement, and combustion and ones involving electrolysis. I need explanations.
Preferably sources that can help me with the questions I have/problems in regard to high school chemistry as written below, but any information is appreciated. NO VIRUS CONTAINING ATTACHMENTS OR LINKS
My main problem is being able to recognize them, and complete their chemical equations correctly like when some parts of their chemical equation are given and others aren't.
Disclaimer: The following question are from a chemistry textbook along with possible answers that are shown on this post. I had nothing to do with the creation of this textbook:
" A mixture consists of Ag, Pb, and Fe metals. Which of these will react with ZnCI2. Choices: "Ag, Pb, and Fe metal, D nonmetals."
" Determine the products and write a balanced equation for the reaction of solid magnesium and water."
" A precipitation of iron III hydroxide is produced by reacting an acqueous solution of iron III chloride with an acqeuous solution of sodium hydroxide. Write a balanced chemical equation. Write a balanced equation."
"Calcium hypochlorite Ca(OCI)2, is a bleaching agent produced from sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, and chlorine. Sodium chloride and water are produced in the reaction. Write the balanced chemical equation. If 2 mol NaOH react, how many moles of calcium hypochlorite can be produced."

Chemistry help relating to atoms and noble gas notation!?
I'm really busy so I need help as soon as possible on the following:
1. Need logical specific steps ( as precise as possible please) on how to do noble gas notation. I understand part of it. For example, to give the noble gas notation of Se the extent I got in trying to get to the answer is [ ] (in the braces you are supposed to put something, not sure what that it) and than I think you are supposed to put 4p5 ( the highest name of an energy level). What you are supposed to put in the braces Im not sure of.
Also to find the out if a specific kind of light named on the electromagnetic spectrum (ex. infared, microwaves) is faster than infared light is faster how would you calculate that?
I was guessing the anwer could be one of the following: The speed of any light is the same because the speed of light is constant in the equation: c=lameda multiplied by v, or c is not constant and you would find that depending on the v mathematically.
Help on the question " Describe an orbital in terms of an electron cloud."
Educated guesses would be helpful too, or any guess that pertains to the question. If you are answering and this is the case, just write that you are not sure. Of course definite answers are better though.
