Why did Obama have more urgency and longer commitment to attacking Libya, than he does Syria?

    The American people have seen the results of Obama's "intervention" in Libya, and they don't want to repeat that mistake in Syria.

    Because there was no "red line" with Libya. With Syria, however, he claimed there was a "red line" and now if he backs down, he risks looking even weaker than he already does.

    why do people continue to ask question already answered? Libya was a UN collation not the USA on its own.

    Because we the people didn't demand that Congress stop his usurpation of our constitution when he invaded Libya. This time we are.
