Will the mark of the beast replace credit cards?
In the book of revelations people had to have this mark upon them or they couldn't buy anything.
If they put a tattoo on the palm of everybody's hand, and it had their account number in a bar code, when you bought something, you could just put your hand over the scanner. Your picture would then appear on the cashier's monitor and prove you were the owner of that account. You wouldn't have to carry cash or credit cards, and there would be nothing for anyone to steal from you.

No. The tattoo or chip might replace credit cards, but not the mark of the wild beast.
That is because the book of Revelation is given in signs / symbolic language.
This is the way it is introduced in its first verse.

But then every one would have a different mark. The Bible doesn't warn against "a" mark of the beast, but "the" mark of the beast. If every one has a different mark then something else is going on. "The" mark of the beast is a specific thing. A barcode is a type of mark, not something specific.
So, your reasoning makes no sense.

The smart card has a micro chip in it. The system is and has been in place mostly for over 10 years now.The 18 digit code in letters and numbers has been done in secret.
We all should refuse the amrk when they deem it to be implanted in th body in right hand or forehead.
Those saved in the tribulation times, will have some difficulties in living. Yet they shall find Jesus Christ to protect them.

Surgically implanting people is already happening today.
Our pets have chips in case they get lost, some of our military have
been implanted, the elderly, those with Alzheimers and even our children
are being implanted using the fear that they may be abducted.
Computer chip implanting may sound safer but thieves will simply
hold a gun to your head and demand you withdraw money from the ATM.
Or worse they may cut off your hand and scan it without you.
Safer or more barbaric?

Kinda. But to get the mark you must bow before an idol of the Antichrist and accept his authority over your life. These things guarantee a persons reservations in the Lake of Fire.

They could put the scanner inside something you would have to stick your hand in. If there was a warrant for your arrest, a device would close and your hand would be trapped. The cops would then be notified where you were.
