The forbidden fruit that Adam+Eve ate and got kicked out of Eden, is that a symbol of sex?

. I was wondering, in the book of genesis, Adam+Eve get banished from the garden of Eden. Now the reason why this happened was they had eaten forbidden fruit from the tree they had been told to keep their hands off of.

Is the forbidden fruit a symbol of sex, and sex with a person you are not married to?

Is the evil serpent symbolic of the penis?

Is the story about how wise men advise us to not have pre-marital sex or commit adultery, and we do it anyway?

    No.

It is stated quite clearly in the text.

    Why don't you read it?

For you to impose your obsession upon the text in flat contradiction of the text simply declares what you are.

No. For Genesis 1:28 says that God wanted Adam and Eve to be fruitful and become many. They were considered married from the beginning. See Genesis 2:25.

No, the forbidden fruit is not a symbol of sex nor is the serpent symbolic of a penis. There are more than one moral sin.

No, not at all. Satan wants people to believe this hideous lie.

God had blessed them, SAYING, be fruitful and multiply.

Scripture solidly proves what the tree was. It is just that people do not study the Word of God, for answers to the Word of God. They look around them at some carnal minded man, and take up his lies.

Adam was that old serpent. He deceived Eve, into taking UP LAW. ROMANS 3:21, Romans 4, 5, 6, and 7, all solidly prove that LAW IS THIS TREE OF DEATH.

God did not want anyone to go into law. He loves grace and mercy. But mercy is not possible under law.

Not one single scripture implicates sex as this tree. Yet many hold to this lie.

I had not KNOWN lust, EXCEPT THE LAW SAID, THOU SHALT NOT COVET, ROM. 7.

The forbidden fruit is not a symbol of sex; it's a symbol of knowledge.

And to this day, purveyors of religion are still doing their darndest to keep us in the Dark Ages.

No .. that's from the ridiculous "comic book" version of the Bible

that Atheists dream up. The scripture does not say that.

The fruit was not even specified ... they were just told NOT to

eat fruit from that one single tree ~ it was to teach obedience,

just like we have to teach our children obedience.

Adam and Eve were naive, and easily tempted to defy God ...

(not much different to a lot of people now) They had plenty to

eat from the other trees in the garden, and chose to ignore a

simple limitation God had placed on them .. and it cost them.
