How to add icon/badge onto my Tumblr description?
So I had a gay pride badge on my description and while I was editing it last night I accidentally erased the html code.
Now that I try to add the html code back to my description, all that shows is a tiny paper image.
And sometimes when I try to add the code again in my description, then hit save, then refresh the page, and then go back to customize it, the code just disappears from my description and no image shows up.
this is my tumblr so you can visually see what's going on with my icon.

This is the html code I'm using
----> <a href=”http://dyke.web.fc2.xn--com><img-fq3d/ src=”http://page.freett.com/dyke/button1%E2%80%A6 style=”border:none;”></a><br>
And I also attempted with a different html code
----> <a href="http://tinypic.com/?ref=2dmikw1%22 target="_blank"><img src="http://i41.tinypic.com/2dmikw1.gif%22 border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>
I've had Tumblr for a few years now and I've never had a problem with this.
Thanks

make sure your html code tags are opened and closed correctly.
the first code has an incomplete image source.
the second code looks fine. just paste it again on your description box and make sure the box doesn't have useless text or codes.

You could try uploading a photo in a text post and then clicking on "html", then copy and paste it. It means you have the URL without having to go on photobucket etc.
