What are some careers in fashion besides a designer? If you could describe them please thanks :)

Besides design, there's modeling (commercial/editorial/catalogue), journalism (editing/writing/reporting), marketing (merchandising/buying/planning/research/retail management), styling, avertising, and public relations. I personally work in Public Relations for a men's fashion magazine in NY and it's really rewarding because you gain experience, connections, and exposure to fashion. In Fashion PR, you are building and maintaining the brand's image and you are involved in every outlet of the company. Good PR is the basis of any brand.
