Which treaty will replace the Kyoto Protocol now that the Kyoto Protocol's first phase ended in 2012?
What the hell is happening wrt all this? Is a new treaty coming up? Or is Kyoto really not all that dead? Why is there no material available on this on the internet. I can't even find any news items. Please help. I badly need internet resources for the situation in the post-kyoto era.

No treaty will replace it, except perhaps a fig leaf where China and India agree to take money from Europe to pretend to reduce their emissions, just so Europe can get its signature on a treaty and claim a victory. Even if met, Kyoto Treaty's carbon emissions reductions would not have effected any significant change in Earth's temperatures. On top of that from 1990-2012 China increased her emissions by 6000 MtCe, more than Europe's total.

Nothing. Didn't you get the note. If we did not achieve the objectives of Kyoto on the time table set by Kyoto all was lost. Well, those objectives were not met. We are now on an irreversable path. If we can no longer make an impact then just live your life and do not worry about those things you can not change. Only a fool worries about things they can not change.

There is none. Attempts to draw up a new treaty have failed.
