I want to ride Rock and Roller Coaster but I'm scared?

Is it really THAT intense? Some say it's not intense, some say it's the most intense ride in the 4 parks... I don't know!

I know there are loops, but do they feel really that terrible? I've never been in a roller coaster with loops before.... I know it has a fast launch... but I love fast rides.. I love Revenge of the Mummy, Test Track [the fast part] and rides like that... but they say it's fastest and more intense than them so I'm scared!

And I know it's dark, but I don't mind about that... I prefer dark rides (Space Mountain, Expedition Everest... etc. I love dark roller coasters).

I'll be asking ride-related questions, so if you can help me with more than one (if you know those rides) I'll be forever grateful because I'm a scaredy-cat and I want to know what to expect.

I wouldn't describe it as very intense. Really the biggest rush you get is from the fast launch, so if you like that then you're set. It's also mostly in the dark, so you'll like that. The loops are pretty small. On a fast ride with small loops you don't even realize you're upside down hardly. And they hardly last more than a second or two it seems. Cartwheels and handstands are more intense, in my opinion.

Well, people could say it's the most intense just because it's the only one that goes upside-down.

There aren't loops (like the big circles that you really feel the upside-downness of) so much as fast turns. Three of them. First time I went on, I didn't even notice I went upside-down. You feel it more in back than in front.

I think that i fyou like Space mountain and Expedition everest you will love Rock N' roller coaster. I would say it's just a step up in intensity from Space Mountain, and it's fun having music.

if you enjoy all of the other rides you mentioned then you will most likely enjoy rock n roller coaster.

considering that disney world does not have all that many intense rides i'd say that rock n roller coaster and tower of terror are the 2 most thrilling rides in disney world.

    loops are nothing.

by the time you even realize you were upside down you are right side up again.

since you have not been on a looping coaster yet i will just advise you to keep your head pushed back against the headrest cuz it can be a bit rough.

i suggest just sucking it up and going on once.

if you don't like it then don't go on again.

I highly recommend you ride it, you will CERTAINLY regret it if you don't. The ride says it goes 60 mph but the truth is it doesn't Test Track is faster and I know these for a fact because I have heard from senior cast members and from various reliable online sources. P.S. The music is loud, the pictures are embarrassing, and in line getting closer to the end of the chain link fence to the "limos" is gut wrenching, and just before your assigned your line by the cast member you feel like your going to wreck your pants. Trust me that IS the fun of it! You will totally love it I promise!!!! It is sooooooo fun! :) you will be ok.

I might not be the best for this considering I don't like rides much ( cried at the RotM >.<)

but from what I know, loops: you'll be glued to the seats no worries there. From what you say, i think you'll have a fun time anyway. TAKE THE PLUNGE! daredevil :D

It is a lot of fun!! Ride it!! Make sure you push yourself back into your seat for a smoother ride. It is no worse then Space Mountain or Everest and make sure you do Tower of Terror while you are right there too. I'm jealous.
