NYC Federal Jury Duty - Travel Reimbursement?

I recently served on a Federal jury in NYC for 16 days. They pay you $40 per day plus travel expenses, however, THEY calculate the costs and send you a check several weeks later. I submitted the parking receipts for all 16 days and then waited. When the check arrived, the amount they paid was some $300.00 less than I actually spent to commute to and from the federal court from the northern surburbs during that time period. I have since mailed the Court Clerk a detailed letter with breakouts of my travel expenses and the total amount that was not reimbursed. What are my chances of seeing the additional money that I feel I should be reimbursed?

wow ! that really sucks. remember the entire government policy is now to destroy works of righteiousness. nothing the government does is faithful to God ,which means all people will be destroyed for their lack of faith.

when i filled out my jury duty questionaire i told them i had a bumper sticker on my car which supports Alex jones and that 9/11 was an inside conspiracy on my bumbper sticker.

you have been legally shafted, however what you have to do is file a paper that defines your parking costs before they will reimburse you

the entire system has been compromised by double speak and illegal laws.

    None.

I imagine they have standard travel expenses which they pay. Which are likely based on public transportation. Not an individual's parking expenses if the juror chooses to drive and park.
