Why is it good politics to promote inequality?

Inequality - The condition of being unequal, lack of equality, opportunity, treatment or status.

I was on my Congressman's web page when I discovered a tab that Promoted organizations that only aided ethnic minority businesses. How is this O.K.?

I understand that for the most part, minorities have less wealth than whites. But what is stopping them?

Asians are a minority, yet they earn MORE than whites on average. The fact that you are a minority does mean you have some kind of lack of opportunity or disadvantage (as Asians have proved through hard work)

Since you can decide to only help a certain group of people, does that mean I can make a white only fund? Can I give funds to someone to go to college because they are white?

I am not racist, I am a realist. Minorities dont have less wealth because they are minorities. They should take note of their Asian minority brethren.

How are we claiming to be an equal rights society, yet we turn around and offer financial opportunities to a certain group of people, based on the color of their skin?

Honestly, in your Congressman's case, it's probably a party platform to get him a greater minority vote. This promotion of equality is in fact, as you said, a promotion of inequality. We were a country that was created on founding principles of everybody starting at the same line but we've moved on to being a country that thinks in giving some people a head start while moving the others further back. We've become a society that thinks instead of giving everybody equal footing to start on we should rig the game so everybody ends at the same place. It's quite literally a form of racism wherein a group of people believes that another group of people is inherently worse or less likely to be successful and so they need more help than others. I despise it, but it's true and we live in a world of political correctness where you can be labelled a racist for stating truths but nonetheless we have to keep on keep oning to show the world what is an isn't right. This, frankly, isn't right.

Have a great day, and good luck with everything.

Asians weren't kept here and brought here as slaves, they came because they wanted to, and they were willing to do anything to make a living, like most of the immigrants here, yes, even the illegals, the ones who come are the ones who are the most daring and the hardest working, not the ones who were in the wrong tribe, or ran a little slower, or were bred here for physical and not mental attributes.

People who are forced into something they didn't understand and were made to feel less than human aren't going to be giving their all.

And yes, you can donate to private colleges that are white, and you can set up private scholarships for people who meet a certain criteria, like skin color.

Democrats use it to divide and conquer. Racism, calss warfare are Democrat staples. They cannot not debat so they creat turmoil that they can BLAME the right for and w/ a COMPLICIT MEDIA their lies become 'truth' to enough low information votes to win.

the congressman, i assume, is republican. this is because the republican party is falling out of touch with the minorities, and they are kicking them out of power.

It doesn't. Everyone deserves to be treated right. Special privileges are a form of inequality.
