If you were going to tell someone something to think (about God, life, peace, etc) ... ?

... knowing they would be going on a long hike or like mountain climbing for awhile, what would you tell them?

Update:

+ thinking about reading the Bible is not reading the Bible, but still you would have to think about WHY and WHAT GOOD IS IT and anything else associated with it and finding those answers would definitely consume our thoughts so, good answers ... +

" Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, Knock and it will be opened unto you. For whosoever asks will receive and to him who seeks, he will find and to him who knocks, the door will be opened unto him." [Matthew 7:7-8] If you will study the scriptures {the Bible}, open you're heart and learn the message of salvation, the gift God has given to us all, if we beleive and receive Christ Jesus as Lord and savior that will give you the greatest life and fill your heart with an unending peace.

Think about what life has done for that person, why they currenlty believe in what they believe in (atheism, christianity, buddism, etc.). Then play devil's advocate about those beliefs (the opposite possibilty to their ideology, what ifs). Then discuss my own views and theories, and then compare them to other scenarios.

    Makes for interesting conversation...I think.

    my 2 cents.
