Pregnancy test reliable?
My girlfriend missed her period a couple days ago so she bought a pregnancy test and the results were "not pregnant". But now I'm hearing that you have to wait at least a week or two after she misses her period for it to work. I'm really nervous that it was a false negative. We always use protection. I guess my question is how reliable are the results and how worried should i be??

If it says not pregnant you might still be. But if it says you are pregnant, it's true. The test detects a hormone that is only present during pregnancy.

I took a test and it said 'not pregnant' yet I was. The doctor is the best source.
