    Make an x - y table of the points, plug in a value for x and then find the y value, and plot the ordered pairs.

    Remember, -x² = -(x²).....

    (-2, -4); (-1, -1); (0, 0); (1, -1); (2, -4).........etc.

    Connect these points, and add more if you want, and it will be a ∩ shaped graph.
