Android vs iPhone - Better yet, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy 4s or Motorola Droid Razr Maxx Hd?
I have an iPhone 4 that I'm really happy with, but my work has asked me to upgrade. I can choose a iPhone (5 or wait for the 5s) Samsung Galaxy 4s, or any other Android device. It was just recommended that the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD was worth looking at.
Should I wait for the new iPhone 5s or move over to an Android device?
I like the way the iPhone works, yes, even the old iPhone 4.
My dilemma is that I just recently purchased a Nexus 7 tablet (Android), and love it. I use it for photography, specifically with the DSLR Controller app. (I do have a hot spot for internet connectivity).
There is probably advantages to having the same OS on both the tablet, and phone. One I know of is that using the DLSR Controller, if I had an Android phone I could use the phone as a wireless point to trigger my camera off my Nexus 7.
A concern is iTunes. I tried using the Google Play Cloud, but found that about 100 of my songs are under that DRM protection. I know there's software, etc, but seems like a pain, but probably a must if I want to take my music.
I'm a fairly casual user when it comes to phones. I don't do a lot of talking on the phone, but I do check work email (Lotus Notes Traveler), texting. Camera is not a factor at all. Seems like the only thing (at least in my head) holding me back is the iTunes thing, which isn't a big deal.
If you had your choice, which way would you go? And, if you do go to the Android side, which device?

I prefer Android over Apple.
Android is very free, contains more features, and is more customizable; you can basically do whatever to make the phone look the way you want. The new Galaxy S4/Note 3 has a huge beautiful Full HD 1080p display, clearer and crisper than any iPhone.
Apple on the other hand is very locked. You can't really customize it or do anything, in other words iOS is very boring. Not much to an iPhone. Just a couple of apps like Siri that make it seem cool.
If you look at the specs alone, the Galaxy S4 is far better than any iPhone.
Longer battery life, longer talk time, better hardware, faster processor, better graphics(by a ton), better camera, external memory expansion slots, more options to choose.
Why choose Apple?

Droid Razr Maxx has the best battery life Samsung Galaxy S2 has the most processing power HTC Rezound has the best screen resolution iphone 4s has the 2nd best screen resolution and siri Galaxy nexus has the newest operating system, but it will lose that advantage when the other android phones get the ics update. The nexus just gets it first.
