how do you find the rule given this chart?

    I plotted the points on a scatter plot and the points don't seem to fall on a nice line or curve. Are you supposed to find a regression line? Or are you supposed to come up with an exact equation? You didn't really specify.

    The least-squares regression line is y = 21.94x - 4.19 (rounded) and has a correlation of .98, so it's pretty close to linear, but not exact.
