Workout routine for 16 year old female ?

I am currently very overweight right now. I am 16 female, around 300 lbs, and 5'9". I carry my weight fairly well. Travel volleyball starts around November and my mom said I had to lose some weight or I can't play. What's a good workout routine I could do ?

Also, any tips to help lose weight ? And how much do you think I could possibly lose in around 2 months ?

See a professional dietitian/ fitness coach about this, as you want the safest and healthiest approach. That's my opinion!

But a few things that may help from what I know:

For starters walk a few miles everyday if you can, in the meantime. And eat balanced and healthy and make sure to drink lots of water! Less processed foods, less added sugar and unnecessary sodium. Eat healthy fats like Omega 3s, important to overall health of the body. Coconut oil can help you lose weight and speed up your metabolism in a healthy manner. Eating fiber helps you feel fuller, so lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds! Eat plenty of protein to build muscle as you try to burn away fat and maintain muscle strength. Otherwise you will burn away your muscle and not your fat. Eat plenty of whole grains to hold things together and give you healthy carbohydrates for energy. Nothing in extreme though, all in moderation.

Learn about nutrition and health and find answers as you research! Get active doing things throughout the day just to burn calories. One trick: The more water you drink work up to 8 glasses a day, the more you will have to walk to the bathroom to pee- That's exercise! Plus water helps you lose weight and flush out toxins and fat. And walking up an down stairs is great exercise! I am 5" 8" / 5'9" and 140- 145. I was 165 at my heaviest. You will probably feel a lot better, happier and more confident in your skin if you were to lose some weight by getting healthier and more in shape!

Some exercise that I recently fell in love with is called Pop Pilates on you tube by a cute little American Asian girl named Cassey Ho. Her links are below. And she makes working out so fun. Just make sure to stretch before and after if you do her workouts or you will be way sore.

I wish you the best, all the peace love and joy in the world as you begin your journey of health and wellness! Hope this helps!
