How long would the average human lifespan be if we didn't have all the technology we do now?

Nowadays it seems that people are able to live much longer than they were not that long ago, and I believe it's due to the advances in medicine and technology and whatnot. So, if we didn't have any of the medicine and stuff that we do now, how long would we usually last?

What counts as "technology"? Most of our food supply is technologically produced. There were hunter-gatherer and Paleolithic individuals who lived to 60 or 70, but that wasn't the average. The infant mortality rate was astronomical. If you ignore that, 40-60 years isn't uncommon.

Methuselah lived to 969 years old....

    Enoch lived 365 years...

The thing is, we don't really know. The best estimates suggest that we should be able to function for about 150 years, with rapid degeneration after that time, along the lines of Huxley's "brave new world".

Oh, and people living to well over 100 has been going on for a very long time, not a recent thing dependent on medicines and technologies.

The overall average before most of the industrial revolution was between 40-50 years averaging out everything for incomes(rich, middle, poor), and lifestyle (country vs city).

You would need to look at historical life spans. Check out the link below. It will give you the life spans from the stone age to modern times.
