Cannot save microsoft office?

I have Microsoft office 2010 running on windows 7. I cannot save or open a file in excel, office, anything. I have run all updates and restarted and still nothing. When I click save or save as just a black gray screen pops up and nothing else or normal. Any ideas?

    Download the Free Libre Office for windows, It has all the same features that 2010/13 has and more besides, It's up todate August 2013. download it from here
