If you want to be an RN, you need a Bachelors and a pass on the NCLEX-RN.
The Army is in the process of ending the M6 ASI for 68W which was what medics could go through after 2 years as a medic to become an LPN. They are making it an MOS which will be 68C. If you want to be an LPN, talk to a recruiter about 68C.
If you want to be an RN, go to college.

1. Go to college with an accredited BSN program, enroll as pre-nursing and look at ROTC
2. Get into nursing school and pursue ROTC if you desire
3. Finish nursing school and commission as an officer if you pursued ROTC
4. Pass NCLEX-RN
5. Go to your basic course at Fort Sam Houston, TX and graduate. Party hard.
6. Go through RFO process and get stationed in some sh*thole like Fort Bliss
Alternate Contingency Plan: Skip ROTC and after you finish your NCLEX direct commission into the Army. With this recruiting climate it is very doubtful that will happen as a new nurse....

to be a Nurse you must have a BSN in hand and be accepted for a direct Commission.
the only way to get assistance from the military prior to getting a BSN is to get a Nurse Option ROTC scholarship.
