CBBUK : True to who you are ?

Yeah, I know what you mean, a criminal who likes thieving or beating people up, or saying vile things to people is being 'true to himself' because that's what he's like, therefore he's being 'REAL' when he does those things, it doesn't mean though he should be applauded for his actions.

It also amazes me when people say 'Don't speak ill of the dead".

If a person was a nasty horrible specimen who made everyones life a misery when they were alive, then i'm still gonna say that about them after they're dead, just because they've popped their clogs doesn't all of a sudden make them a great person.

WOW calm down people are allowed to have their own opinions.

Some are true to themselves and funny.

It is rude and nasty to call people names especially what Vicky said to Charlotte and that was not funny at all as she went over the top because Charlotte just stuck up for Louie and Vicky then started having a go at her and called her a ''fat, ugly $lag''

How would you like it if someone called you something like that?? I think you would not find it funny or nice!.

I agree with you. Why people love charlotte I have no idea. She is fat, I don't know why people keep saying she's not. I like carol when she is on loose women not when she's on big brother. And I like Louie cause he is funny and truthful. Everyone turned on vicky but I don't get why she didnt do anything wrong.

Read star magazine and you will see how fat charlotte is. She is a slag and she isn't that pretty to be honest. If you have a friendly personality you are more beautiful.

Personally, when I watch BB...I watch it for fun so that I can love and hate the housemates as they give us reasons to. Just being a slag or a gay or whatever doesn't make me hate them or like them. I warm to the ones who act naturally within the context of the game....even if they are bad...and I hate on the ones who are nasty, evil or pretentious.

Yes I agree that that there are people on here who seems to sometimes forget that what we are asking and answering questions on is a game show. They forget that the people in that game show are in there to be loved or hated by us the public. If we like them we keep them in...if we hate them they get evicted.

Some people on here do seem to take it quite personal if you say bad things about the housemates THEY like and good things about the ones THEY hate. Very strange.

There are 3 main Big Brother Cliches that make no sense but are spouted every year....

1) "She/He's playing a game" - Well they all are, it is a game.

2) "She/He is true to themselves" - Which makes no sense as a positive characteristic if who they truly are is unlikable.

3) "She/He tells it like it is" - The mantra of a sociopath.

I don't mind Charlotte though.

good point, people seem to think just being genuine in your actions deserves some merit even if you are a horrible cad.

another thing i hate is when people say "i tell it like it is" or "i say what i think" this is normally an attitude of the most neanderthallic or inbred person you might meet. just because they same something based on their own slow moving brain does not suddenly make it a fact. indeed i find these people very sensitive once faced with my own observations on themselves as human beings.

to be honest I couldn`t care less if the house mates are being "true to them selves" or they`re not ,I watch because I want to be entertained ,so if their "true" personality is nice but boring ,then get them out and leave the outrageous and nasty ones in ...at least they`re doing something !

If that is how they behave normally then they have been true to who they are

Big brother can bring out the meanness in people , we haven't seen much kindness this year
