methylprednisone has anyone taken this medicine?
My doctor prescribed this to me as i have had swelling my my jaw area that hasnt completely gone away and some pain with chewing.
i am one of those people whos afraid to take pills cuz of the side effects. has anyone taken this and how bad was it

It's actually called methylprednisolone.
Ordinarily it is a steroid might help to reduce inflammation.

The brand I am familiar with is called Medrol and I only took it short term
in low doses for my hypopituitarism, and it alleviated my symptoms.
I felt ok on it.
