Is this going to be a good sound system for a car?
Ok, so i do not know a whole lot about amps, speakers, subwoofers, and wiring of it all. But it's going to be a while until i have enough money saved up for my dream SS. So, i would like to know if the things that i've been looking at will add up to be enough power, to much distortion, not enough etc. It's going to be while (like i said) so i better learn about it all before i buy something that i don't even need. I first looked at speakers, i heard that pioneer is really good, so looked at that.
6 3/4 2way speaker... TS-D1702R. ok i think 4 would be nice.-is that to many??? Then the amp would be a bass inferno- BI4400PRO. This has 2 channels. My thinking is that if it has 2 channels it can have 2 Subs that can hold up to 2,200 max each. Now Subwoofers, CW2-152 they are 15's it said 2,200 watts each so i want a 4,400 watt amp. Right? I know you might be thinking, "this kid doesn't know what he's talking about at all"... But i need advice and how it works and what i should get. Thank you for your patience in reading. God Loves you!!

First thing, never go by max/peak power rating, there useless. Go by the rms ratings. Try 2 match the rms of the sub, or if ur gtn 2 subs, the combined rms 2 the rms of the amp. Example, 1000 peak 500 rms- look for an amp that does no more than 500 rms. Now say u want 2 of em, they both do 500 rms so ur amp should do 1000 rms. The best kind of amps 4 subs r mono block amps. The subs ur lookn at say 1000 rms a piece. The amp ur lookn at has nowhere near enough power 2 push those properly. U shld look 4 an amp that does at least 1000 rms but no more than 2000 rms. Also since those subs are 2ohm dvc (daul voice coil) u gotta hook em up at a 2 ohm load. Heres a link 2 show u how http://m.seimg.net/product/img/subwoofer_wiring/2_... A good amp 4 the subs ur lookin at is http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_14910_Power-Ac... hook those subs up @ 2 ohms n you'll b bangin out! Good luck man. O yea put em in a ported box 2, they'll b louder

Not really everything is pretty low end try kicker or Rockford fosgate and for the door speakers try Polk audio
