Why do the New Orleans saints change their jersey colors?

All teams change their jersey color depending if ther're at home or on the road. Most teams wear dark jerseys at home and white on the road, the only exception to this rule I can think of is the Dallas Cowboys who wear white at home and blue on the road.

Every team has home and away colors. The Saint's home jerseys are black and gold. Their away jerseys are white and black. At each game, the home team decides which jerseys they want to wear. If they choose home (which most do), then the opponent wears their away jerseys. If they choose away (which Saints did last week against Atlanta even though it was a home game for the Saints), then the other team wears their home jersey.

Exceptions occur because the home teams elect to wear their away jerseys at home. Cowboys don't always do this but they did last week against the Giants.

Every team in the NFL has a home, away, and an alternate or retro jersey. For the Saints the Black jerseys are the home colors, the White is the away, and the Gold is the alternate/throwback/retro home jersey. I hope this helps

Black is the primary home jersey. But it changes sometimes like last years they wore white for 3 home games and then black jerseys for the last 2 regular home games and the playoffs against Cardinals and for NFC championship they wore black.
