What are the step parent rights in AR?

My fiance and i will be getting married soon and he has a son. the childs mother and i arent on good terms at the moment. She will not allow me to be in the presence of her and her she doesnt want me to help or be there for the child at all. I was wondering when we do get married can she deny me visiting the child or going with my future husband and her to a doctors appointment? Also can she deny me going to special events/ birthdays/ holidays that the her and the child will be at?

What othet rights do step parents have? Because i hate the fact that she isnt letting me be there for the child.

Step-Parent has no right to the child. If mother was proven unfit in court then thats another case. Its up to your husband son if he want to take her to court for denying his visitation because of you(if thats the case). You have no rights over the child.

To the person below me... She aint become a step mother. They are divorced. Therefore, she is not gonna become a step mother. If she gets divorced and he marries another person then its a different story. Previous person is never a step mom. Get lost.

Sad part is she will always be a part of the equation.. When and if you have kids with Romeo remember she will become a stepmom too.
