Unplug HDTV When Not In Use?
I just bought a new HDTV and in the owners manual it says to unplug the television when not in use for extended periods of time. Now at the end of the day I usually leave the television off for roughly 12 hours or so until my next use. Should I unplug it at the end of every day and if so will it harm the television at all?

No - they are talking about leaving the TV off for WEEKS at a time like in a back-bedroom that is occasionally used or if you are gone for a month or two.
