Nerd Alert: Are you ready for the premiere of Legend of Korra?

5 MINUTES! I'm over my friends' house because I don't have cable and I love this show to pieces. I'm so excited. I love this show so much.

It's the spin-off sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender. Season 2 premiere <3

BQ: What did you think of The Last Airbender? Did you see the movie?

BQ2: What shows did you primarily watch growing up?

I actually haven't been keeping abreast...

    (prepares for community stoning)

...now don't get me wrong, it isn't because I don't like the show. I saw the first three episodes of the first season and thought it was very good - had a steampunk setting, which I loved. But I missed the fourth one, and so had to skip seeing the fifth when it premiered, and etcetera and etcetera until I fell out of the loop. It's been the same for my mom and Battlestar Galactica.

So I'll have to see if I can find some episodes on my On Demand to rent and watch when I can. I'll be happy to: I really want to see what's happened since last time. Until then, I won't be ahead of the curve for a long long while.

BQ: Really liked it. I only got through the movie because I did my own personal silly RiffTrax version with my mom; inside I was cursing all the world that this existed instead of feeding hungry orphans with the production money. It'll be my same reaction to the big-budget 50 Shades of Grey when that comes out.

BQ2: Tons of cartoons. Animaniacs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, mostly, but also tons of Looney Tunes, Tiny Toons, the Disney duck cartoons like Darkwing and Ducktales, Goof Troop and Tale Spin. Also more grown-uppy ones; already mentioned Animaniacs but I loved the dark edgyness of the animated Batman series, and the opening of the Beetlejuice cartoon was the coolest thing I remembered seeing.

EDIT: Oh, and Daria. Didn't know a thing about high school then, but I loved Daria.

Hell yeah! It just came on for me. I'm beyond excited. I watched the show this summer for the first time and really liked it, so I didn't have to wait long luckily. It's not as good as Avatar (That's like one of my favorite shows ever for the record) but it's great for what it is.

BQ: As I said, I loved it, it's one of my favorite shows. I really hate the movie. (I saw it in theaters and was so disappointed, I can't even tell you)

BQ2: Avatar of course, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Kim Possible, and Drake and Josh were my favorites.
