Are you confused about the "looking forward" part? that means that they want something coming up. For instance:
I am looking forward to getting paid on Friday.
- This means I am happy to be getting paid on Friday.
I am not looking forward to the exam next week.
- This means I am not wanting to take the exam next week.
She is happy that she gets to see you next week. I would also say this was a nice way of ending the conversation.
