I'm learning Italian. Is there a rule of thumb when it comes to the ending of adjectives?
For instance,
La bicicletta e gialla
vs.
Il sole e giallo
I notice this is usually based on the "gender" of the noun? But when the noun is plural, the ending is different. In this case, gialle... right?
Is that always the case? I just want to understand better when to end with a, e, o, i, etc.
I'm using Rosetta Stone, so it doesn't really explain why a certain ending is used.

Like age group or income level. You look at these groups to determine your target market. I think the word starts with a D, and it is on the tip of my tongue but I can't remember it.
2 AnswersWords & Wordplay6 years ago4 week running schedule?
Hi.
I am running a 10k on Thanksgiving.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good training schedule for increasing my daily mileage from 3 miles to 5 or 6.
Background:
I used to run cross country in high school, but I stopped running during college.
After college, for about 2 years now, I have played hockey in a rec league 1 night per week. I have gone to the gym on and off for exercise, but nothing serious.
I went out for a couple runs last week, and went 3 miles at a slow 9 minute pace without much trouble, but my leg muscles were pretty sore after.
So I would like to run a 10k on Thanksgiving. Training for it will motivate me to get back into a regular running schedule.
So, is there an exercise schedule someone could suggest for me? Right now I was thinking something like
Sun-Thurs Run 3 miles
Friday - Hockey
Saturday - OFF
And then increase the distance by 1 mile each week if I feel ready.
Or should I add an OFF day on Tuesday?
Any help would be great, thanks.
1 AnswerRunning7 years agoHockey, Defensive question?
So, a player on the other team is starting a break out near the boards.
Now, usually, I would have seen this coming and already started skating back, but sometimes, I don't and find myself attempting to hold the play up at the blue line.
The question is, when the player bounces the puck around me using the boards, and then skates around me the other way, should I turn and chase for the puck or should I just try to re-gain body position on the other player?

So, I watched it in my friend's dorm room, 4 or 5 years ago.
I think it is a spin-off anime.
But the point is there is this guy, he is like a secret agent, and he is protecting this girl. And they are just at school. But since he is a secret agent, while they are doing mundane things like going to the beach, he does the tasks over the top awesome, and he is a bit detached from the "normal" way to do things.

I completed my taxes on Turbo Tax back in February. I got a refund for my federal taxes, but I owed money for my state taxes. So now, it is April 17, and I realized that I never mailed in a check for my state taxes. What could happen, since I will be paying after the deadline? Are there more forms I need to fill out?
Thanks.

2 AnswersUnited States7 years agoIf you are not clocked in, but not allowed to leave, are they supposed to pay you anyways?
My friend was called into work at 11 o'clock to cover someone's shift.
When she got there, she was told that they had enough people because someone was working a double. She was also told she needed to standby because they might still need her.
So, 5 hours later, she is still waiting. She is not clocked in.
Is there some law that says she has to get paid for that time, even though she wasn't clocked in and wasn't doing any work since they kept asking her not to leave yet (essentially wasting her Saturday).

I mean, was it Joseph? I kind of doubt that he was qualified. How did most births happen during those times? You'd think whoever it was should've at least gotten an honorable mention in the bible. Was it a midwife or some stranger passing by?
